tvN’s “The Queen’s Umbrella” dominated this week’s rankings of the most buzzworthy dramas and actors!
This week, the new historical drama starring Kim Hye Soo rose to No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.
In addition to “The Queen’s Umbrella” topping the list of most buzzworthy dramas, star Kim Hye Soo also climbed to No. 1 on the list of most buzzworthy drama cast members—followed by her co-stars Bae In Hyuk and Moon Sang Min at No. 8 and No. 9 respectively.
SBS’s “One Dollar Lawyer” swept the No. 2 spot on both lists, with star Namgoong Min taking No. 2 on the list of buzzworthy drama actors.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “Cheer Up” claimed the No. 3 spot on both lists, with leading lady Han Ji Hyun rising to No. 3 on the actor list this week. Notably, her co-star Bae In Hyuk made the list twice: he rose to No. 7 for his leading role in “Cheer Up,” while also ranking No. 8 on the list for his performance in “The Queen’s Umbrella.”
MBC’s “The Golden Spoon” remained No. 4 on this week’s drama list, and star BTOB’s Yook Sungjae climbed to No. 5 in the actor rankings.
tvN’s “Love in Contract” held onto its spot at No. 5 on the drama list, while stars Park Min Young and Go Kyung Pyo ranked No. 4 and No. 6 respectively on the actor list.
KBS 2TV’s “The Bad Prosecutor” maintained its position at No. 6 on the drama list, while MBC’s new drama “May I Help You?” debuted at No. 7. “May I Help You?” star Girl’s Day’s Hyeri also entered the actor rankings at No. 10 this week.
