“Terius Behind Me” And “Heart Surgeons” Finales Enjoy Boost In Viewership Ratings

MBC’s “Terius Behind Me” and SBS’s “Heart Surgeons” both ended with a bang!

According to Nielsen Korea, the November 15 finale of “Terius Behind Me” achieved the drama’s highest viewership ratings yet. The broadcast scored average nationwide ratings of 9.8 percent and 10.5 percent for its two parts (10.5 percent and 11.0 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area), breaking the record set by the drama’s previous broadcast on November 14.

The final episode of “Terius Behind Me” also performed well with the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, maintaining first place in its time slot with ratings of 5.3 percent and 5.9 percent for the night.

“Heart Surgeons” also enjoyed a significant increase in ratings for its finale, with its viewership rising by over 2 percent from its previous broadcast the night before. The November 15 broadcast scored average ratings of 7.8 percent and 8.4 percent nationwide (8.9 percent and 9.4 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area), with a peak of 10.1 percent.

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Feel Good to Die” scored average ratings of 2.2 percent and 2.7 percent nationwide (2.4 percent and 2.8 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area) for the night.

Starting next week, MBC will air its new mystery drama “Children of Nobody” (also known as Red Moon, Blue Sun”) as the follow-up to “Terius Behind Me,” while SBS’s new alternate-universe thriller “The Last Empress” will air in the time slot previously occupied by “Heart Surgeons.” Both dramas premiere on November 21 and will be available with English subtitles on Dramacool.io.
