Stray Kids has scored their highest ranking on the United Kingdom’s Official Albums Chart with “5-STAR“!
On June 9 (local time), the United Kingdom’s Official Charts (typically regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) revealed their latest Official Albums and Singles Charts for the week of June 9 to 15.
This week’s Albums Chart shows Stray Kids’ latest studio album “5-STAR” making its debut at No. 40, marking the group’s highest peak on this chart.
“5-STAR” is Stray Kids’ third album to enter the UK Official Albums Chart, following “MAXIDENT” (which peaked at No. 85) and “ODDINARY” (which peaked at No. 95).
Stray Kids is now tied with BLACKPINK for the second most entries by a K-pop act on the UK Official Albums Chart with three. Additionally, they join just BLACKPINK and BTS as the only K-pop acts with at least three entries on this chart.
Not only did Stray Kids make the Albums Chart, but their “5-STAR” title track “S-Class” also debuted on the UK Official Singles Chart at No. 100. This makes Stray Kids the only K-pop act in 2023 to simultaneously chart on both the UK’s Albums and Singles Charts.
“S-Class” is the group’s second entry on this chart after their 2022 hit “MANIAC” debuted at No. 98.
Congratulations to Stray Kids!
