Stray Kids is soaring to new heights with their latest comeback!
On June 2 at 1 p.m. KST, Stray Kids made their highly-anticipated return with their third full-length album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” and its catchy title track “S-Class.”
According to Hanteo Chart, “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” sold an impressive total of 2,392,666 copies on its first day of sales alone—smashing not only Stray Kids’ previous first-day sales record of 1,308,971, but also their previous first-week sales record of 2,163,349 (both set by their previous mini album “MAXIDENT“), in just one day.
“★★★★★ (5-STAR)” has now achieved the third-highest first-day sales of any album in Hanteo history, bested only by SEVENTEEN’s “FML” and BTS’s “Map of the Soul: 7.”
Even more impressively, “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” has already managed to achieve the fourth-highest first-week sales of any album in Hanteo history with just one day of sales. The only albums to sell more copies in their first week to date are SEVENTEEN’s “FML,” BTS’s “Map of the Soul: 7,” and BTS’s “Proof“—and with six days of sales left to go, it remains to be seen just how much higher “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” will climb.
Congratulations to Stray Kids on their amazing achievement!
