Zhang Ruo Yun is a Chinese actor who made his debut in the 2004 television drama "The Sea's Promise". He graduated from The Beijing Film Academy in 2007. He won the Outstanding Actor Award for his role in the 2014 drama "New Snow Leopard" and the Most Popular Actor Award for his role in the 2016 drama "Sparrow" at the China TV Drama Awards.

On 2nd August 2017, Zhang announced on Weibo he was dating actress Tina Tang. After nine years of dating the couple wed on 27th June 2019 and welcomed a daughter on May 5th 2020.
