On 2009, he become one of the top ten contestants of Taiwanese TV singing contest "One Million Star", but didn't win. He debuted as a singer in 2012 as one of the four founding members of the boyband SpeXial, alongside Wes, Brent and Sam. Later that year, Huang debuted as an actor with a supporting role in the drama "PM10-AM03". In the following years, he continued appearing in web series and movies, mostly with his bandmates. He is also a member of Taiwanese boy band W0LF(S).
