Yamada Takayuki is a Japanese actor, singer, and producer in Japan. At the age of 15, he was discovered by his Talent Agency Stardust and made his debut in Psychometrer Eiji 2. His subsequent portrayal as the "cool" younger brother of the heroine in the hit NHK Asadora Drama Churasan won him wide recognition.
He is best known for his starring roles as Matsumoto Sakutaro in the 2004 melancholic drama Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu and as the computer geek in 2005 movie Densha Otoko.
In recent years, he has focused on film with Japanese media often dubbing him as chameleon actor for his wide acting spectrum throughout his career.
