Stephen Fung Tak-Lun is a Hong Kong-based actor, singer, model, writer, and film director. Fung's mother, Julie Sek Yin, was a famous Shaw Brothers actress.

Partially raised in the United States, Fung made his acting debut in the 1990 film Forbidden Nights, playing the childhood version of the male lead (Robin Shou). Fung attended the University of Michigan where he earned his degree in graphic design. In the mid-1990s, he returned to Hong Kong where he would form the band Dry with Mark Lui. He would continue his acting career in Hong Kong, with successful films like Gen-X Cops and its sequel Gen-Y Cops. In 1999 Fung released his solo album, Not Enough Love.

In 2004 Fung made his directorial debut with entering the Phoenix and later directed a second film, House of Fury, in 2005.

Fung married Taiwanese actress Shu Qi in September 2016. The two met on the set of the gay romance drama Bishonen in 1997 and dated for four years before marrying.
