Shiina Kippei is a Japanese actor whose first true breakthrough performance was in the 1993 film, Nûdo no yoru. His portrayal of a young yakuza enamored with his boss led to a Best New Actor Award at the 9th Takasaki Film Festival.
He met actress Yamamoto Mirai on the set of TV Asahi's drama 'BLACK OUT' in 1995. After 8 years of dating, they tied the knot in 2003. They had a son together in 2010.
On October 26, 2019 they announced through their agencies that they have divorced by mutual agreement.
