Matsushita Kouhei is a Japanese actor.

Matsushita started oil painting from an early age with his mother, who is a painter. As he entered junior high school, he became more interesting in dancing, and he attended dancing courses. The movie "Tenshi ni Love Song 2" influenced him to "become a singer!". So, he entered a music vocational school and started writing poems and songs for the first time.

Since 2008, he has been performing live in Tokyo and the Kanto area as Kohei , a "painting singer-songwriter" who sings while drawing pictures to his own songs . After releasing a limited-edition single for three consecutive months from June of the same year, he made his CD debut from Victor Entertainment with the single "STAND UP!" In November.

In 2018, he received the 73rd Agency Award for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival Theater Division New Face. In 2020, he won second place in the "Ranking of Actors Who Are Good at Acting" which was held on the Weekly TV Guide.
