Lee Ki Chan is a South Korean singer and actor. He graduated from Dongbuk High School and later obtained an associate degree in applied music from the Seoul Institute of the Arts and a bachelor's degree in Postmodern Music Studies from Kyung Hee University.
Months before debuting, while still a student, he won the grand prize in a contest organized by MBC Standard FM's "Starry Night." He made his official debut as a singer in 1996 with the album "Na Na Na Na Nineteen", which brought back soft ballads at a time when dance music dominated the industry. He released many albums during his career until 2014 when he decided to shift his attention to acting. He had minor roles in a 2008 movie and a 2011 drama, but his official debut happened in 2014 when he appeared in the TV Chosun drama "Into the Flames" (불꽃 속으로), and the following year, he was chosen for a role in the American series "Sense8".
