Kim Woo Jin is a South Korean singer, dancer and former member of STRAY KIDS (스트레이 키즈). He graduated from Seoul Performing Arts High School, and before debuting, he spent several years as a trainee at SM Entertainment and Fantagio.
He participated in an audition show created by JYP Entertainment (JYP엔터테인먼트) and was chosen to be part of the resulting group. He made his debut in March 2018 as STRAY KIDS's main vocalist with their first EP, "I Am Not".
In October 2019, JYP terminated his contract and he left due to personal reasons. In September 2020, he was accused of sexual assault but the incident was fabricated by the alleged accuser.
In December 2020, he signed with 10x Entertainment (10x 엔터테인먼트) and released the documentary "Finger Killer" speaking about the sexual assault scandal and how it affected him mentally and emotionally.
He re-debuted as a soloist in August 2021 with his first mini-album, “The Moment: 未成年 a minor“. He left 10x Entertainment in late 2023.
He also began acting in musicals, making his debut with a role in the 2023 musical "Sherlock Holmes: The Andersons' Secret".
