Kim Jin Soo is a South Korean comedian, actor and film producer. He graduated from Yongsan High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theater from Seoul Arts College and is a student in the Practical Foreign Language Studies program at Soongsil Cyber University.
He made his debut in 1995 as part of the 6th open recruitment for comedians at MBC and was placed in "Today is a Good Day" where he showcased his impressive acting skills even in minor roles. The following year, he teamed up with senior comedian Lee Yoon Seok and gained some popularity with his comedy skits.
In the late 1990s, he became a well-known figure as comedy shows began dramatizing some of their acts and he was very good at it. For many years, he moved to dramas and musicals as he was tired of appearing on comedy or variety shows.
In 2003, he married lyricist Yang Jae Seon and also began hosting radio shows at KBS FM. In 2022, he was part of the production team of the movie "Kill Me Now" and, in 2023, he appeared in "Rebound" in a supporting role.
