Kang Min Hee is a South Korean singer, dancer, former member of X1 (엑스원) and current member of CRAVITY (유나이트). He graduated from Namgang High School and is enrolled in the Applied Music program at Sejong Cyber University.
He was a trainee for 2 years and 9 months under Starship Entertainment (스타쉽엔터테인먼트) prior to his appearance in the survival show "Produce X 101". He finished in 10th place and secured a spot in the show's project group X1.
He made his debut in August 2019 as X1's vocalist with their first mini-album, "Emergency: Quantum Leap" under Swing Entertainment (스윙 엔터테인먼트). Initially, the group had a 5-year contract. However, the vote manipulation scandal at MNet led to an investigation. They were forced to halt their activities, and after an unsuccessful negotiation about their future with Swing Entertainment and the members' individual agencies, they disbanded in January 2020.
He returned to Starship and re-debuted in April 2020 as CRAVITY's lead vocalist and visual with their first EP, “Season 1. Hideout: Remember Who We Are“.
They became the first 2020 rookie artist to debut on the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 and earned numerous awards in their rookie year including "New Artist of the Year" at the 12th Melon Music Awards, "Best of Next" at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards, among others.
