Jin Han is a Chinese actor and singer born to a military family in Xining, Qinghai Province. He graduated from Beijing Modern Conservatory of Music with a bachelor's degree in performance. He officially entered showbiz in 2012 with the MV for songs "Aftermath" and "Love, What's Up". In 2014, he participated and won third place in the Guangdong Satellite TV talent show "China's Good Man". His acting debut was in 2015 with the romance movie "Goodbye Mermaid". In January 2016, he won the Best Actor Award in the "China Xiangyang University Student Micro Film Exhibition" for the movie " Whose Youth Isn't Hot Blood". In November same year, he gained popularity from his villain role in the TV series "Princess Wei Young" which received a high rating after the network broadcast exceeded 20 billion.

In October 2020, Jin was reported to be in a relationship with Zhang Zhi Xi. However, on 6th November 2021 it was announced that they had broken up.
