Lee Ho Dong, later legally changed to Lee Ho Won and formerly known professionally as Hoya, is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor and former member of INFINITE (인피니트). He attended Towol High School but dropped out to pursue his dream of becoming a singer. Later, he passed the High School Graduation Qualification Examination. He later obtained associate degrees in Photography and Imaging from Ahyeon Industrial Information School and in Applied Music from Daekyung University. He then obtained a bachelor's degree from Hoseo University and a master's degree from Sejong University, both in Applied Music.
He made his debut in June 2010 as the group's main dancer, lead rapper and vocalist with their first EP, "First Invasion". In 2012, the single "The Chaser" was named Billboard's third-best K-pop song of the 2010s decade and was included in Rolling Stone's list of 75 Greatest Boy Band Songs of All Time in 2020. The band was managed by Woollim Entertainment (울림엔터테인먼트).
In August 2017, Woollim announced his contract had expired, and as he decided not to renew it, he left INFINITE. A few weeks later, he signed with Glorious Entertainment, looking to pursue a career as an actor and also promote as a soloist. He made his solo debut with his first mini album, "Shower", in March 2018.
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on February 7, 2019, and was discharged on December 6, 2020. After his release, he left Glorious Entertainment in December 2021.
He is now represented by RISE Entertainment (RISE엔터테인먼트).
