Kim Woo Seok, also known previously by his stage name Wooshin, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, model, and entertainer. He is a member of the South Korean boy group, UP10TION under the company TOP Media and made his debut in 2015. He had been training for a year before joining the group. Kim graduated from Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts with a major in K-Pop and Acting. He is currently studying at the Global Cyber University enrolling in the Broadcast and Entertainment Department.

On June 6, 2017, TOP Media issued a statement regarding Wooshin's hiatus in UP10TION. It was stated that his psychological condition had worsened due to the mental stress that he had been receiving since the end of 2016. Wooshin returned to the group activity when UP10TION released the first studio album "Invitation" on March 15, 2018.

Kim made his appearance as a contestant on the boy group survival reality show Produce X 101. He ranked 2nd in the final episode of Produce X 101 and became a member of boy group X1. He debuted with X1 on August 27, 2019, with the release of their first EP "Emergency: Quantum Leap". On January 6, 2020, SWING Entertainment announced X1 disbandment after the revelation of a vote-rigging scandal involving Produce X 101 and due to a lack of agreement between the members of management companies about the group’s future.

After X1 disbandment, Kim continued to promote as an artist under his real/birth name Kim Woo Seok and he focuses his career as a solo musician and actor. Wooseok made his solo debut with his first EP titled 1st Desire [Greed] along with the lead single "Red Moon" on May 25, 2020. He received his first music show win on M Countdown with his second EP 2nd Desire [Tasty] on February 18, 2021, becoming the first UP10TION member to get a music show win. Wooseok made his acting debut through the web drama "Twenty-Twenty" in 2020.
