Kim Tae Young is a South Korean singer, dancer and member of CRAVITY (유나이트). He attended Shinsong High School but dropped out and later passed the High School Graduation Qualification Examination. He is enrolled in the Applied Music program at Sejong Cyber University.
He lived in Malaysia for almost 2 years when he was a child due to his father's work. He was an apprentice at SM Entertainment and attended Bupyeong Dance Academy. He was also part of a dance cover group called MOEBIUS.
He later joined Starship Entertainment (스타쉽엔터테인먼트) and made his debut in April 2020 as CRAVITY's lead dancer and sub-vocalist with their first EP, “Season 1. Hideout: Remember Who We Are“.
They became the first 2020 rookie artist to debut on the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 and earned numerous awards in their rookie year including "New Artist of the Year" at the 12th Melon Music Awards, "Best of Next" at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards, among others.
