Sato Eriko is a Japanese actress, television personality, model, and former gravure idol born in Kitasenju, Adachi, Tokyo, Japan. She is affiliated with Ladybird agency.
From the age of 2 to 7, she lived in Sendai, Japan. From the second grade of elementary school to the first year of junior high school, she resided in Higashinada, Kobe, Japan. She experienced the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake during her first year of junior high school and subsequently moved to Osaka, Japan. During the earthquake, she listened to a radio program where the host repeatedly offered words of encouragement, which inspired her to work in the media industry to uplift others. She moved from Osaka to Tokyo during her third year of junior high school.
She enrolled in Horikoshi High School, thinking that attending a school where many entertainers were affiliated might increase her chances of becoming one.
