"Boom" Panadda Wongphudee is an actor, professor, columnist, emcee, and racer from Bangkok. Her family has roots in Uthai Thani province. She got her bachelors in business administration from Assumption University and went on to get her masters in the same field from the University of Wollongong in Australia. Subsequently, Boom received her PhD in management from the University of South Australia. Afterwards, she worked as a professor in the faculty of management sciences at Kasetsart University. She's been the president of the student and alumni association of Rangsit University since 2017.

Boom used to work as an expert consultant to the Thai senate in commerce and economics.

In 2000, Boom entered the Miss Thailand beauty pageant where she took first place and was crowned Miss Thailand 2000.

Boom was married to executive Veerapong Pipitsuksan from 2005–2007. They had one child together. She married physical trainer "Ake" Akekarin Nilsettee in 2015. The two separated amicably in 2018.
