“Squid Game” And Jung Ho Yeon Nominated For 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards

Both “Squid Game” and its star Jung Ho Yeon have snagged nominations for this year’s MTV Movie & TV awards!

On May 11 local time, the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards announced its list of nominees, and the smash hit series “Squid Game” earned two nods.

“Squid Game” is up for Best Show alongside “Euphoria,” “Inventing Anna,” “Loki,” “Ted Lasso,” and “Yellowstone,” making it the only non-American show nominated in the category.

Meanwhile, Jung Ho Yeon is in the running for Breakthrough Performance, facing off against fellow nominees Alana Haim (“Licorice Pizza”), Ariana DeBose (“West Side Story”), Hannah Einbinder (“Hacks”), and Sophia Di Martino (“Loki”).

The 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards will air live from Los Angeles on June 5.
