Sooyoung, Jeon Hye Jin, Ahn Jae Wook, And Park Sung Hoon’s Upcoming Family Comedy Drama Confirms Premiere Date

Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung and Jeon Hye Jin’s upcoming family drama is gearing up for the release!

Based on a popular webtoon, “Strangers” (literal translation) is a comedy drama that tells the delightful cohabitation story of a clumsy mother and her coolheaded daughter. Scriptwriter Min Seon Ae and director Lee Min Woo, who helmed “Cinderella and Four Knights” and Season 4 of “God’s Quiz,” have teamed up to create a high quality drama.

Sooyoung will play the role of Jin Hee, a police station patrol team leader who urgently needs to crack down on her own mother Eun Mi rather than on her cases.

Jeon Hye Jin will take on the role of Eun Mi, a charming and bubbly physical therapist and single mother with a 29-year-old daughter.

Ahn Jae Wook will portray Jin Hong, a mysterious otolaryngologist who pursues a principled life and suddenly appears in front of Eun Mi one day.

Park Sung Hoon will play Jae Won, a police director relegated to the Namchon Police Station whose life gets even more twisted when he meets Jin Hee there.

Anticipation is high for the chemistry between the four main actors who will deliver a heartwarming story in the upcoming drama.

“Strangers” is scheduled to premiere on July 17 via Genie TV and ENA as the follow-up to “Lies Hidden in My Garden.” Stay tuned!
