Won Ji An has dished on her upcoming role in “Heartbeat”!

KBS2’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Heartbeat” (also known as “My Heart Is Beating”) tells the romance story of half-human and half-vampire Seon Woo Hyul (2PM’s Taecyeon), who was unable to become human due to a one day difference amidst 100 years, finding true warmth as he starts to live together with Joo In Hae (Won Ji An), a woman who has no humane side.

On June 8, the drama released more stills of Won Ji An as Joo In Hae, a school nurse and guesthouse owner with a colorful personality.

Ahead of the “Heartbeat” premiere, Won Ji An shared why she chose to star in this drama saying, “I was positive that this was a project viewers can watch enjoyably and comfortably.”

Regarding her similarities with Joo In Hae, Won Ji An revealed, “Regardless of whether she does well or not, she tries her best with tasks she’s assigned.” She added, “What’s different is that she’s much more self-sufficient than me.”

Won Ji An chose active communication with the director as the focus of her acting and explained, “Even before we began, I spoke with the director about the character’s initial set-up. Since this is a project that incorporates the comedy genre, we decided on a direction that wasn’t too heavy and I also wanted to film enjoyably.”
