“Sweet Home 2” has unveiled brand new stills!

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Sweet Home” is a popular series about Cha Hyun Soo (Song Kang), a loner high school student who moves into a new apartment when monsters start breaking out among humanity and the apartment residents are trapped inside the building. Season 2 will focus on how Cha Hyun Soo and other survivors struggle to survive after leaving Green Home.

The released stills depict the greater chaos and crisis as well as a monsterization situation the survivors face after leaving Green Home. Unlike Pyeon Sang Wook (Lee Jin Wook), who is filled with hatred toward humans, Hyun Soo, who tries not to forget that he is human, confronts the reality of the government’s vaccine development at the Special Disaster Base, and the residents of Green Home Apartments finally reach the baseball stadium that has been set up as a safety camp.

In the stadium that has become their new home, all the survivors without exception prove whether they are humans or monsters every day and live under the protection and control of the security forces.

One still captures Seo Yi Kyung (Lee Si Young), who is raising her child alone on an abandoned ship, while another captures street survivors Ho Sang (Hyun Bong Sik) and Ha Ni (Chae Won Bin), who are exposed to the risk of being attacked by monsters at any moment. Viewers are curious about why they have chosen to live outside the stadium.

Commenting on the different types of people living in the stadium, Director Lee Eung Bok shared, “Monsters are not only outside but also firmly rooted in each person. I wanted to pose the question of how long the survivors can hold on to their humanity and whether they can accept their lovers, friends, and family members who have become monsters overnight.”

“Sweet Home 2” will premiere on December 1.
