aespa is off to a strong start on the Billboard charts with “Drama”!
On November 21, Billboard revealed that aespa’s new title track “Drama” had achieved the group’s highest rankings yet on both its Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts. “Drama” entered Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 8, the Global Excl. U.S. at No. 21, and the Global 200 at No. 38.
Meanwhile, aespa’s new mini album of the same name debuted at No. 33 on the Billboard 200, making it their fourth album to enter the chart after “Savage,” “Girls,” and “MY WORLD.”
aespa has now become the fastest K-pop girl group in history to score four top 40 albums on the Billboard 200, having achieved the feat just three years after their debut. They are also only the second K-pop girl group overall—following BLACKPINK—to enter the top 40 of the Billboard 200 with their first four albums.
“Drama” also debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, No. 5 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, No. 7 on the Top Album Sales chart, and No. 12 on the Tastemaker Albums chart this week.
Finally, aespa re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 34, marking their 11th non-consecutive week on the chart.
Congratulations to aespa!
