Some Viewers Unsatisfied With Park Bo Gum & Song Hye Kyo’s “Encounter”

Having only aired three episodes up until now, South Korean drama series “Encounter” hasn’t exactly been off to a good start at the moment as many viewers of the show have stated that the plot and script are much too obvious and seems lacking in effort.

The drama series revolves around the storyline of romance between Soo Hyun (Song Hye Kyo) and Jin Hyuk (Park Bo Gum). Jin Hyuk is the CEO of a hotel whereas Soo Hyun is a new recruit who starts working at the hotel.

Viewers who have been criticizing the show have stated that the show lacks creativity and fails to utilize the two highly talented and popular stars in a fitting manner.

“Is this the best that they can do when they have two of South Korea’s top stars in the cast?”

“Does anyone actually think this is fun? The script and the plot are both flimsy.”

“There’s nothing to see here, except for the faces of the two of them.”

Some have even voiced that the two stars do not have good chemistry, despite their status as professionals who are highly sought-after.

But even so, the viewer ratings continue to maintain impressive figures, coming out as 9.3% (10.3% is the highest).
