Sol Kyung Gu Reported + Hong Kyung In Talks For New Film By

Sol Kyung Gu and Hong Kyung may be uniting in a new film!

On May 27, Ilgan Sports reported that Sol Kyung Gu and Hong Kyung will star in the new film “Good_News” (literal title).

In response to the report, Hong Kyung’s agency management mmm stated, “[Hong Kyung] has received an offer to star in the film and is reviewing the offer.” Sol Kyung Gu’s agency has yet to comment on the matter.

The film “Good_News” is a modern-day historical drama inspired by a plane crash incident and is scheduled to start filming in August.

If Sol Kyung Gu confirms his role, it will mark the fourth collaboration between Director Byun Sung Hyun and Sol Kyung Gu. Their partnership began with “The Merciless,” followed by “Kingmaker: The Fox of the Election” and “Kill Boksoon.”

Hong Kyung is a rising actor who has received attention for his roles in productions including “D.P.,” “Weak Hero Class 1,” “Revenant,” and “Troll Factory.”
