JTBC’s upcoming weekend drama “Welcome to Samdalri” has dropped new stills of Shin Hye Sun!

Helmed by “When the Camellia Blooms” director Cha Young Hoon, “Welcome to Samdalri” will star Ji Chang Wook as Jo Yong Pil, a man who has faithfully stayed in his hometown on Jeju Island all his life in order to protect its residents. Shin Hye Sun will play Jo Sam Dal, who grew up together with Jo Yong Pil as his close childhood friend. Unlike Jo Yong Pil, who was content to remain in his hometown Samdal, Jo Sam Dal made it her mission to get out of their small town and move to Seoul.

Sam Dal considered Jeju Island to be too small to contain her potential, so she traveled to Seoul to chase her dreams and endured as an assistant in the notorious fashion photography industry for eight years because she didn’t want to return to her hometown. Eventually, she rose to the top position that she dreamed of.

The newly released stills capture Sam Dal giving off professional vibes as a top photographer on set. With her sharp gaze, she clicks on the shutter with perfect timing, working tirelessly to create the perfect piece. However, an unexpected event occurs to Sam Dal while at the peak of her career. Through the incident, she falls from her position overnight, and wounded, she returns to Samdalri, which contrasts greatly with the busy city that is Seoul.
