The Seoul High Court has denied FIFTY FIFTY’s Saena, Sio, and Aran’s appeal and upheld the earlier decision in favor of ATTRAKT.
Earlier this year, the members of FIFTY FIFTY filed an application for provisional disposition to suspend the validity of their exclusive contracts with their agency, ATTRAKT. However, on August 28, the Seoul Central District Court denied their request to suspend their contracts, finding that there was “insufficient evidence” supporting FIFTY FIFTY’s claims.
While all four members of FIFTY FIFTY initially appealed the court’s decision, Keena recently withdrew her appeal and returned to ATTRAKT on October 16, stating that she and the other members had been manipulated by The Givers’ CEO Ahn Sung Il (SIAHN), who is currently being investigated by the police for fraud, breach of duty, and obstruction of business.
On October 23, ATTRAKT announced that they had terminated their exclusive contracts with the other three members of FIFTY FIFTY, citing their “lack of corrective measures or remorse regarding their serious contract violations.”
On October 24, the Seoul High Court ultimately rejected the three members’ appeal, upholding the original decision denying their request for a suspension of their contracts.
