Seolhyun Joins Gong Yoo And Song Hye Kyo In Talks For New Drama By “Our Blues” Writer

Seolhyun may be joining Gong Yoo and Song Hye Kyo in an exciting new drama together!

On June 13, it was reported that Seolhyun had been cast in the new drama “Show Business” (working title).

In response to the report, a representative from Seolhyun’s agency IEUM HASHTAG shared, “Seolhyun has received an offer to appear in Noh Hee Kyung’s new project ‘Show Business’ and is currently reviewing it.”

Penned by acclaimed scriptwriter No Hee Kyung of “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” “That Winter, The Wind Blows,” and “Our Blues,” “Show Business” explores South Korea’s rapidly growing entertainment industry in the post-Korean War era, focusing on the lives of stars on stage and the people who create those stars.

Previously, it was revealed that Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo are also in talks to star in the drama.

Director Lee Yoon Jung, recognized for her successful works such as “Coffee Prince,” “Cheese in the Trap,” and “The Lies Within,” will take the helm. Director Lee previously collaborated with Seolhyun in her 2022 drama “Summer Strike.”
