In a recent interview and pictorial for Elle Korea magazine, Seo In Guk and Park So Dam dished on their upcoming drama “Death’s Game”!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Death’s Game” tells the story of a man who gets more than one second chance at life after facing death. Park So Dam will play the role of Death, who sentences a man named Choi Yi Jae (Seo In Guk) to 12 cycles of life and death.

In their post-shoot interview, Park So Dam recalled her excitement when she signed on to the drama, noting, “It was a genre I’d always wanted to try.”

The actress went on to share, “There were elements of the drama that couldn’t be expressed through reading the script, so we were constantly imagining what the finished result would look like after post-production as we filmed. I think that was what I found both the most difficult and the most appealing about filming this drama.”

Meanwhile, Seo In Guk remarked, “Personally, I really enjoy time-loop stories. As an actor, I was really excited about this new direction, and I was happy to have been able to take part in the drama.”

Both actors also spoke highly of their co-stars, with Seo In Guk praising Park So Dam’s presence and her unique take on a difficult role.

“Regardless of her resemblance to the character in the original webtoon, So Dam’s aura was so transcendent that I felt Death in the webtoon and Death in the drama existed separately,” said Seo In Guk.

Park So Dam similarly praised Seo In Guk’s acting, recalling, “On the day of our first table read, I was so amazed that I kept staring at him. Because he was exactly how I had imagined Yi Jae in my mind. It was to the extent where I thought, ‘I haven’t been able to prepare that much yet [for my role]. When did he have time to prepare so well?’”

“Death’s Game” will premiere on December 15.
