JTBC’s new drama “Reborn Rich” is on the rise!
“Reborn Rich” is a fantasy drama starring Song Joong Ki as Yoon Hyun Woo, a loyal secretary to a chaebol family. When he dies after being framed for embezzlement by the very family that he had faithfully served, he is reborn as the family’s youngest son Jin Do Joon, and he plots to take over the company out of revenge.
After premiering to the highest ratings of any JTBC drama this year—and the second-highest premiere ratings of any drama in JTBC history—”Reborn Rich” enjoyed a significant rise in viewership for its second episode on November 19.
According to Nielsen Korea, “Reborn Rich” climbed to an average nationwide rating of 8.8 percent for its second episode, taking first place in its time slot across all channels. The drama also took first place in its time slot among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it earned an average rating of 4.2 percent.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “The First Responders” dipped to an average nationwide rating of 8.5 percent for its third episode, trailed by MBC’s new drama “Fanletter, Please,” which scored an average nationwide rating of 1.3 percent for its second episode.
tvN’s “The Queen’s Umbrella” remained first place in its time slot with an average nationwide rating of 10.8 percent, and it also took first place in its time slot among viewers ages 20 to 49—with whom it scored a nationwide average of 4.5 percent.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Three Bold Siblings” continued its reign as the most-watched program of Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 18.9 percent.
