Lee Young Ae has been confirmed for her first drama in a year!
On November 1, Lee Young Ae’s agency shared that the actress was in discussion to appear in the new drama “Maestra” (literal title).
Lee Young Ae has now confirmed her role in “Maestra” as female orchestra conductor Cha Se Eum. “Maestra” is based off a French work of the same name that depicts the hardships and growth journey of a female orchestra conductor who does her best to investigate the various mysteries that occur within the orchestra. While the passionate former violinist Cha Se Eum is bold enough to live like there’s no tomorrow and in a position that many covet, a secret she hides from everyone causes her life to turn upside down.
“Maestra” will be Lee Young Ae’s first drama project in a year since starring in “Inspector Koo” last December. The drama is set to start filming early next year.
