Pyo Ye Jin has shared what it was like working with her ideal type for her hit drama “Taxi Driver”!
On the April 16 episode of SBS’s “My Little Old Boy,” Pyo Ye Jin made a guest appearance as a special MC. The booked-and-busy actress has just wrapped up her dramas “Our Blooming Youth” and “Taxi Driver 2″—the latter of which has been confirmed to return for a third season.
At one point during the show, host Shin Dong Yup asked Pyo Ye Jin to choose between her co-stars from the two dramas, saying, “You worked with Lee Je Hoon in ‘Taxi Driver 2’ and Park Hyung Sik in ‘Our Blooming Youth.’ If you could work with one of them again for your next project, which of the two actors would you want to work with?”
Pyo Ye Jin initially responded with a laugh, “I don’t know if they’d want to work with me again!” However, after giving it some thought, she continued, “But since I’m getting along so well with [Lee Je Hoon’s character] driver Kim Do Gi in ‘Taxi Driver,’ I think I’d like that to continue a little longer.”
Shin Dong Yup then pointed out that his question, which was prepared by the show’s writers, was already flawed. “From a long time ago, [Pyo Ye Jin] has already been saying in interviews that Lee Je Hoon is her ideal type,” he pointed out, making the actress cover her face and burst into embarrassed laughter.
When asked what it was like working with her ideal type, Pyo Ye Jin confessed to feeling worried that Lee Je Hoon might have heard what she’d said about him.
“I called [Lee Je Hoon] my ideal type a long time ago after watching ‘Architecture 101,’ but I think I shouldn’t have done it,” said the actress. “People always ask me about it, and the first time I met Je Hoon on set, I was so embarrassed. I was worried he might know about it.”
Seo Jang Hoon then asked if he was still her ideal type after she’d worked with him for the drama, and Pyo Ye Jin replied, “Actually, I like him even better now that we’ve met in person.”
