Park Ji Hoon, Ryeoun, Lee Jun Young, And More Confirmed For Season 2 Of “Weak Hero Class 1”

Get ready for the next part of “Weak Hero Class 1”!

It was previously reported on December 1 that Season 2 of “Weak Hero Class 1” was in talks to be revealed via Netflix after the first season was released as a wavve Original.

On December 4, Netflix announced the production of “Weak Hero Class 2” (working title) along with the star-studded cast consisting of Park Ji Hoon, Ryeoun, Choi Min Yeong, Yoo Su Bin, Bae Na Ra, Lee Jae Min, and Lee Jun Young. The production team from “Weak Hero Class 1” will also continue as is for the new season.

Based on a webtoon, “Weak Hero Class 1” is an action school drama starring Park Ji Hoon as Yeon Si Eun, a model student who excels at school but is physically frail—making him an easy target. Yeon Si Eun eventually uses his brain to win his battles as he fights back against violence. Choi Hyun Wook co-stars Ahn Su Ho, Yeon Si Eun’s loyal friend and an innately talented fighter who can easily finish his enemies with a single blow.

“Weak Hero Class 2” will continue to follow the journey of Yeon Si Eun as he transfers to Eunjang High School with the trauma of being unable to protect his friend. At his new school, Yeon Si Eun matures while struggling to survive and faces off against even greater violence as he resolves not to lose his friends again.

Park Ji Hoon will reprise his role as Yeon Si Eun, an outsider who has no interests besides studying but faces off against violence after meeting a friend he treasures. The actor shared, “My heart is already pounding. ‘Weak Hero Class 1’ is an important project that landed me my first rookie award as an actor. I will work hard to show a new side of me and how I’ve matured for those who waited with anticipation.”

The photos shared by Netflix also highlight the new cast members who will join as Yeon Si Eun’s new friends at Eunjang High School. Ryeoun will take on the role of Park Hoo Min, Choi Min Yeong will play Seo Joon Tae, and Lee Min Jae will portray Go Hyun Tak.

Furthermore, on Yeon Si Eun’s opposing side, Yoo Su Bin will return as Choi Hyo Man. Bae Na Ra will play the role of Na Baek Jin while Lee Jun Young will play Geum Sung Jae.
