The stars of tvN’s “Castaway Diva” have shared their thoughts ahead of tonight’s series finale!
“Castaway Diva” is a romantic comedy starring Park Eun Bin as Seo Mok Ha, an aspiring singer who gets stranded on a deserted island while traveling to Seoul for an audition.
With just one episode left to go in the drama’s run, Park Eun Bin remarked, “I was hoping that Mok Ha would become a milepost for my 2023, and I’m happy that I was absolutely able to achieve that goal. It was a year in which I did my best together with an amazing director, writer, cast, and crew.”
She went on to express her gratitude to viewers by saying, “Thank you to everyone who watched the drama. Both Mok Ha and I will always be rooting for you to shine bright and illuminate one another through your dreams.”
Kim Hyo Jin, who played the role of Yoon Ran Joo, shared, “It was an honor to have been able to work together with director Oh Choong Hwan, writers Park Hye Ryun and Eun Yeol, the staff, and the rest of the cast. Thank you to the viewers who sent us lots of love.”
The actress continued, “I was really happy during the time I spent acting as Yoon Ran Joo, and it was a very meaningful time. I think [‘Castaway Diva’] will forever remain a warm drama that I can never forget.”
Chae Jong Hyeop, who starred as Kang Bo Geol, similarly commented, “After working hard with a wonderful cast and crew to create a great drama, I was truly happy that ‘Castaway Diva’ received so much love. I think the drama will remain in my heart for a long time. Thank you for laughing, crying, and empathizing together with us while watching ‘Castaway Diva.’”
VIXX’s Cha Hak Yeon (N), who played Kang Woo Hak, remarked, “I’d like to sincerely thank the viewers who watched ‘Castaway Diva.’ I have a lot of happy memories from the time I spent as Kang Woo Hak.”
He went on to share his deep affection for his character by adding, “Even though the drama is ending, I’m so attached to and fond of Woo Hak that I’d like to think he’ll go on living a happy life.”
Finally, Kim Joo Heon, who played the role of Lee Seo Joon in the drama, said, “I’d like to express my gratitude to everyone who watched, loved, and rooted for ‘Castaway Diva.’ Please always be healthy, and I will root for your dreams while hoping that your lives will be full of happiness.”
The final episode of “Castaway Diva” will air on December 3 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
