Gold House has announced its A100 List of the most impactful Asians and Asian American & Pacific Islanders for 2023!
Each year, Gold House honors 100 Asians who have an impact on various spheres including entertainment, media, fashion, lifestyle, technology, business, and social activism.
On May 1, Gold House revealed its annual A100 list for 2023, which includes K-pop stars NewJeans and GOT7’s Jackson under entertainment and media!
Gold House recognized NewJeans quick rise to success, “becoming the first K-pop band to achieve the million-seller milestone with its debut album” after dropping their self-titled debut EP last August. They also celebrated the group’s historic debut on the Billboard Hot 100 with their hits “Ditto” and “OMG.”
Jackson’s latest album “MAGIC MAN” was celebrated for its widespread critical acclaim and success on various Billboard charts. Last year, Jackson made history as the first-ever Chinese solo artist to perform on the Coachella main stage with 88rising. This past year, Jackson headlined 88rising’s “Head In The Clouds” festival and returned to perform at Coachella with his own set. Gold House also recognized Jackson for his work as a fashion designer and creative director, the founder of TEAM WANG, and a member of GOT7.
Gold House will celebrate this year’s honorees during a three-day event from May 5 to 7. On May 6, they will hold the Gold Gala, where more than 750 Asian Pacific and multicultural luminaries will gather to celebrate initiatives representing the next wave of the Asian Pacific movement.
Congratulations to NewJeans and GOT7’s Jackson!
