NCT DREAM’s new album has just reached an impressive milestone!
Earlier this week, NCT DREAM made their comeback with their third full-length album “ISTJ” and its catchy title track of the same name on July 17 at 6 p.m. KST.
On July 20, Hanteo Chart reported that “ISTJ” had already sold a total of 2,194,117 copies—meaning that the album took less than four days to surpass 2 million sales.
With three days still left to go before the end of the week, NCT DREAM has already smashed their previous first-week sales record of 1,591,021 copies (set by their winter special album “Candy” this past December).
Notably, NCT DREAM is only the fifth artist in Hanteo history to sell over 2 million copies of an album within the first week of its release. The only other artists ever to surpass 2 million first-week sales of an album are BTS, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, and TXT—making NCT DREAM the first artist from SM Entertainment to achieve the feat.
NCT DREAM also previously surpassed a whopping 4.2 million stock pre-orders for “ISTJ,” setting a new record for the third-highest stock pre-orders of any album in K-pop history.
Congratulations to NCT DREAM on their amazing new achievement!
