“My Dearest” Stars Namgoong Min And Ahn Eun Jin To Guest On “Knowing Bros”

 

Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin will be appearing on “Knowing Bros” (“Ask Us Anything”)!

On December 13, Korean news outlet Hankook Ilbo reported that Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin would participate in the filming of JTBC’s entertainment program “Knowing Bros” on December 14.

The production team of “Knowing Bros” responded by confirming, “Actors Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin will appear as guests on ‘Knowing Bros.'” They added, “The episode featuring the two stars will air in January of next year.”

Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin received much love from viewers for their portrayal of a poignant romance amid war in the recently concluded drama “My Dearest.” During their guest appearance on “Knowing Bros,” the two stars will share behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of “My Dearest,” along with updates on their lives since the drama’s conclusion.

While Namgoong Min previously appeared on “Knowing Bros” in 2019, this will mark Ahn Eun Jin’s first appearance on the show.

Set in the Joseon dynasty, “My Dearest” told the heartbreaking love story of a man named Lee Jang Hyun (Namgoong Min) and a woman named Yoo Gil Chae (Ahn Eun Jin). The drama was originally planned for 20 episodes, but was extended by one episode due to its popularity. Its final episode scored an average nationwide rating of 12.9 percent, marking a new all-time high for both Part 1 and Part 2 of the show.

The drama won a total of five awards, including the Grand Prize, at the 2023 Grimae Awards, which were created in 1993 by the Korean Directors of Photography Society (KDPS). Leads Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin also won the awards for Best Actor and Best Actress respectively.

Meanwhile, “Knowing Bros” airs every Saturday at 8:50 p.m. KST.
