It’s official: MONSTA X’s Shownu will be joining Mnet’s “Street Woman Fighter 2” as a judge!
On June 12, the producers of “Street Woman Fighter 2” confirmed reports that Shownu would be serving as a judge on the upcoming second season of the hit dance survival show.
“Shownu is an artist who has a strong fandom both domestically and globally, and he is also well-known for his powerful dancing as MONSTA X’s main dancer,” said the production team “Because he also previously served as a judge on Mnet’s ‘CAP-TEEN,’ which aired back in 2020, we look forward to Shownu using his experience to help the dancers’ global performance on ‘Street Woman Fighter 2’ as well.”
“Street Woman Fighter,” which aired its immensely popular first season back in 2021, is an all-female dance survival program in which various female dance crews compete to be the No. 1 team. BoA and NCT‘s Taeyong served as judges on the first season, while Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk and 2PM’s Wooyoung joined BoA as new judges for the male version of the show, “Street Man Fighter,” last year.
The second season of “Street Woman Fighter 2” will premiere on August 22.
