“The Uncanny Counter” Teases Return With Additional Counter Member In New Poster For Season 2

tvN has unveiled the first poster of “The Uncanny Counter 2”!

Based on a webtoon, “The Uncanny Counter” is about demon hunters called “counters” who disguise themselves as employees of a noodle restaurant and hunt down demons who have come to Earth in pursuit of eternal life. During its run, the 2020 drama recorded the highest ratings in OCN history.

The upcoming season, titled “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch,” will draw out the return of the “counters” who have now become stronger after acquiring new powers and an additional member.

Previously, the drama confirmed that the five main leads (“The 5 Counters”) are set to return: Jo Byeong Gyu, Yoo Joon Sang, Kim Sejeong, Yeom Hye Ran, and Ahn Suk Hwan. They will be joined by new cast members Jin Sun Kyu, Kang Ki Young, Kim Hieora, and Yoo In Soo.

The newly released poster for the highly anticipated drama shows silhouettes of the counters looking over Jungjin City. Energy fields that amplify the counters’ strength and superpowers (known as the “Yung’s Territory”) can also be seen spewing out from all over the city.

In particular, the poster also reveals the silhouette of the newly recruited counter Jeok Bong (Yoo In Soo) for the first time. With the addition of a new member to the team, expectations are high for the return of the counters, who will present even more enhanced team play and exhilarating catharsis as they embark on new journeys to banish powerful new evil spirits that are expected to appear in front of the squad.
