“Love In Contract” Premieres To No. 1 In Ratings Amidst Stiff Competition

tvN’s newest Wednesday-Thursday drama “Love in Contract” has just premiered!

According to Nielsen Korea, the September 21 premiere broadcast of “Love in Contract” garnered an average nationwide rating of 3.992 percent. This is an increase in ratings from the premiere record of 3.5 percent set by its predecessor drama “Adamas.”

“Love in Contract” is a new romantic comedy about a service that provides fake wives for single people in need of partners to bring to social gatherings, such as school reunions and dinners for married couples. Park Min Young stars as professional fake wife Choi Sang Eun who finds herself caught between longtime client Jung Ji Ho (Go Kyung Pyo) and newcomer Kang Hae Jin (Kim Jae Young).

ENA’s “Good Job” achieved an average nationwide rating of 2.078 percent, marking a dip in ratings from the previous episode’s record of 2.853 percent.

KBS2’s “If You Wish Upon Me” recorded an average nationwide rating of 1.7 percent, which is also a dip from the previous episode’s rating of 2.1 percent.
