tvN’s upcoming drama “Serendipity’s Embrace” has shared new stills ahead of its premiere!

Based on a popular webtoon, “Serendipity’s Embrace” will tell the story of young people finding true love and their dreams after accidentally running into their first love from 10 years ago. Kim So Hyun stars as Lee Hong Joo, an animation producer who is afraid of love due to painful memories from her previous relationship—and who undergoes an unexpected change after running into Kang Hoo Young (Chae Jong Hyeop), who witnessed some of her lowest moments from her past.

The newly released stills raise expectations for the supporting characters portrayed by the charismatic cast: Lee Won Jung, Hwang Sung Bin, Choi Dae Chul, Kim Won Hae, Yoon Jung Hee, and Kim Jung Nan.

Lee Won Jung plays Kwon Sang Pil, the decade-long friend of Lee Hong Joo and Kim Hye Ji (Dasom), who also claims to be Kang Hoo Young’s best friend. He runs Lee Hong Joo and Kim Hye Ji’s favorite restaurant Meat Again Today and will bring laughter to the drama with his witty banter with Hong Joo and Hye Ji.

Hwang Sung Bin plays Son Kyung Taek, a physical education teacher at Ohbok High School known as “Superman” among his students. With his kind and dependable nature, he is the perfect son-in-law candidate, yet he has long harbored unrequited feelings for his fellow teacher Kim Hye Ji.

Choi Dae Chul portrays Baek Wook, Hong Joo’s landlord and Hoo Young’s uncle. Kim Won Hae plays Kim Bok Nam, the vice principal of Ohbok High School and a figure Hong Joo regards as her savior. Despite his strict nature, he has a warm heart and has significantly helped Hong Joo through his daughter Kim Hye Ji.

Kim Jung Nan makes a special appearance as Kang Hoo Young’s mother Baek Do Seon, who is expected to add tension to the story. A perfectionist who successfully expanded the asset management company “Rock Asset” after immigrating to the U.S., she meticulously plans Hoo Young’s life to avoid any failures. However, she is the first to notice the changes in Hoo Young brought about by Hong Joo. How will she react to these unexpected changes, and how will she influence the relationship between Hong Joo and Hoo Young?
