Jung Young Joo, Lee Moon Shik, And Kim Ki Lee Showcase Their Distinct Characters In Upcoming Drama "Tarot"

STUDIO X+U’s upcoming thriller drama “Tarot” has released new teasers of its supporting actors Jung Young Joo, Lee Moon Shik, and Kim Ki Lee!

“Tarot” unfolds as a series of seven omnibus horror episodes delving into mysterious events that could be part of anyone’s everyday life, all centered around the theme of tarot cards. The plot kicks off as the main characters each receive different tarot cards, and in that moment, find their destinies cursed by the twisted tarot cards.

Jung Young Joo, known for her roles in recent hit dramas such as “Lovely Runner” and “Miss Night and Day,” will star in the episode “Couple Manager.” She portrays a couple manager who specializes in matching people based on a sophisticated grading system. Her encounter with Min Chan (Kim Sung Tae) and his girlfriend Eun Mi (Ham Eun Jung) sets off unexpected turns that deeply affect their relationship.

In the episode “Going Home,” veteran actor Lee Moon Shik, renowned for his diverse roles across various genres, will showcase his acting prowess alongside Go Kyu Pil. Go Kyu Pil plays Kyung Rae, who experiences intense anxiety after hastily taking a late-night taxi and overhearing the taxi driver’s unsettling phone call on a secluded mountain road. Lee Moon Shik takes on the role of the mysterious taxi driver Doo Chul, who traps Kyung Rae in a terrifying situation.

Lastly, Kim Ki Lee will feature in the episode “Phishing,” where BJ Ssunja (Oh Yu Jin) plans a broadcast show aimed at tricking and troubling men but ends up falling into someone else’s trap. Kim Ki Lee will portray Kyung Tae, BJ Ssunja’s manager responsible for overseeing the show and editing. As he witnesses her increasingly provocative broadcasting style and unpredictable behaviors, he begins to question the purpose of his work.

“Tarot” is set to premiere on July 15, with episodes airing every Monday and Tuesday thereafter.
