“Romance is a Bonus Book” is a romantic comedy about people in the publishing world. Lee Na Young will appear as a copywriter named Kang Dan Yi who used to be popular in the past, and Lee Jong Suk will portray a star writer named Cha Eun Ho who is regarded as an idol of the literary world.
About starring in her first drama in nine years after KBS 2TV’s “The Fugitive Plan B,” Lee Na Young said, “It’s my first drama in a while, but the set is still always fun and joyful. The working environment has improved compared to the past. The director is filming even more meticulously than a film, so I am happily filming with the feeling that we are all creating something together.”
Speaking about her decision to appear in “Romance is a Bonus Book,” Lee Na Young explained, “I saw the script for the first and second episodes, and a lot of great things were included in them. It was really well-written, and it felt as if all of the characters are alive. I felt that I have to do this and became ambitious about it. I felt trust in the director and writer from the first time I met them and came to the decision without any concern.”
When asked about the support from her husband Won Bin, she shyly replied, “He told me to work hard.”
“Romance is a Bonus Book” will premiere on January 26 at 9 p.m. KST. Check out the latest preview here!
