“Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” has dropped a look at Lee Ji Ah and Jang Hee Jin’s heartwarming friendship!

Penned by “The Penthouse” writer Kim Soon Ok and helmed by “One the Woman” director Choi Young Hoon, tvN’s “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” will tell the revenge story of a woman who comes to realize that her picture-perfect life is not what it seems.

Lee Ji Ah will star as Hong Tae Ra, a woman who has lost her memories but otherwise seems to have it all, with a life that anyone would envy. When her wealthy and successful husband decides to run for president, Hong Tae Ra also finds herself entering the spotlight. However, when her memories begin to return, Hong Tae Ra realizes that her seemingly perfect life is actually a fabrication orchestrated by someone else as part of a devious grand plan.

Jang Hee Jin portrays news anchor Go Hae Soo, who is Hong Tae Ra’s best friend and the wife of Jang Do Jin (Park Ki Woong), the second son of the Geumjo Group. As she lives with an unhealed wound from the past, Go Hae Soo is endlessly determined to uncover the truth behind “that day,” which ultimately gets her caught in a vortex of fate.

In the new stills of the pair, viewers are given a glimpse of Hong Tae Ra and Go Hae Soo’s sister-like friendship. However, their relationship unexpectedly starts to fall apart when Hong Tae Ra begins regaining memories of her past as a murderer named Oh Young. While Hong Tae Ra gets engulfed into her tragic fate, Go Hae Soo is busy investigating the truth behind her father’s murder.

The first photo shows Hong Tae Ra and Go Hae Soo posing happily in a garden together. In the next stills, the two meet up at an event and share a warm hug.

“Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” is Lee Ji Ah and Jang Hee Jin’s second project together after they both appeared in the 2013 drama “Thrice Married Woman.”

Lee Ji Ah shared of their chemistry, “Although we were working together for the first time in awhile, I still felt that strong camaraderie. We’re filming while taking good care of each other.” Jang Hee Jin aded, “As we worked on a project together in the past, I was able to go into filming more comfortably. As all the actors are cheerful and close, the set atmosphere is great. We’re filming enjoyably while building up our teamwork.”

tvN’s “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” premieres on March 11 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
