The stars of tvN’s “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” have each shared their thoughts on what viewers can expect from the upcoming drama!

Penned by “The Penthouse” writer Kim Soon Ok and helmed by “One the Woman” director Choi Young Hoon, “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” will tell the revenge story of a woman who comes to realize that her picture-perfect life is not what it seems.

Lee Ji Ah will star as Hong Tae Ra, a woman who has lost her memories but otherwise seems to have it all, with a life that anyone would envy. After her wealthy and successful husband decides to run for president, Hong Tae Ra’s memories begin to return, and she realizes that her seemingly perfect life is actually a fabrication orchestrated by someone else as part of a devious grand plan.

“Starting from Episodes 1 and 2, there will already be action, thrilling plot lines, and major twists,” teased Lee Ji Ah. “It’s a drama that has a lot of entertaining visual elements.”

“As we film [the drama], I get the feeling that we’re creating a very new kind of drama, so I’m really looking forward to it,” continued the actress. “Even in terms of filming technique, the camera movements and production aren’t what we’ve commonly seen in Korean [dramas], and we’re trying a lot of unique and new things, so I too am really looking forward to the premiere. Even I’m anticipating the first episode as a viewer myself, so I hope viewers will join us for the premiere.”

Lee Sang Yoon, who will be starring as Hong Tae Ra’s husband Pyo Jae Hyun, commented, “Just like the title of our drama, a situation will unfold where a box that shouldn’t have been opened is opened. ‘What happened in the past, and who made that situation turn out this way?’ If you keep those questions in mind while watching, I think you’ll be able to enjoy the drama more and more with each new episode.”

Jang Hee Jin will be playing the role of Go Hae Soo, a news anchor with emotional wounds who is also Hong Tae Ra’s best friend.

“The whirlwind plot, breathless suspense, and five intriguing characters are the key points of the story,” shared the actress. “Since it’s a revenge story, there will be more scenes that deliver a vicarious thrill as the drama progresses, so please look forward to it.”

Park Ki Woong will play Go Hae Soo’s husband Jang Do Jin, a chaebol heir who is a top executive at Pyo Jae Hyun’s IT company. When asked to name key points to keep an eye on, the actor replied, “The strength of the script, which is difficult to predict, and the densely tangled relationships between the charming characters.”
