Lee Hyori's New Variety Program Confirms Premiere Date

JTBC has offered a sneak peek of Lee Hyori’s upcoming variety show!

“Mom, Do You Want To Go On a Trip With Me?” (literal translation) is a road movie-style variety program in which Lee Hyori goes on a trip with her mother for the first time in her life. Filming was completed at two domestic travel destinations that Lee Hyori’s mother always wanted to visit.

It is said that Lee Hyori and her mother have never traveled domestically, let alone overseas, together. When Lee Hyori was young, her parents were busy with their daily lives, and after debuting at the age of 19, Lee Hyori was busy herself due to scheduled activities. And most recently, Lee Hyori and her mother did not have a chance to travel together as they had to take care of Lee Hyori’s sick father. It is expected that these trips will garner viewers’ sympathy by showing the close yet distant relationship between a mother and daughter.

Producing directors Ma Geon Young and Park Seong Hwan, who previously worked together with Lee Hyori on the variety shows “Hyori’s Homestay” and “Camping Club,” is in charge of production. PD Ma Geon Young remarked, “We hope that through this program, many daughters will make the opportunity to go on a trip with their mothers before it is too late.”
