Jang Ki Yong and Chun Woo Hee are about to start living together on JTBC’s “The Atypical Family”!

“The Atypical Family” is a new fantasy romance drama about a family that once had supernatural powers, but lost them after suffering from realistic modern-day problems. Jang Ki Yong stars as Bok Gwi Joo, who once had the ability to time-travel but lost his power after becoming depressed due to a devastating accident.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming third episode, Do Da Hae (Chun Woo Hee) surprises Bok Gwi Joo by unexpectedly showing up at his family home with a trunk. When Do Dae Hae cheerfully reveals that she’s moving in, Bok Gwi Joo reacts coldly, suggesting that the new development may not go over so well with everyone in the Bok family.

Meanwhile, another set of photos offers a glimpse of Bok Gwi Joo’s past as a firefighter. In stark contrast to his present, when he exudes a dark, gloomy aura, Bok Gwi Joo looks fresh and clean-cut.

However, his devastated expression as he stands in uniform amidst a busy crowd hints at the tragedy in his past that has kept him trapped in place and unable to move forward with his life.

The production team of “The Atypical Family” teased, “Do Da Hae will begin living together with the Bok family in a precarious situation. It will be fun to see what Do Da Hae’s goal is, along with the transformation she causes in Bok Gwi Joo.”

They added, “Bok Gwi Joo’s past that has destroyed his present will also be revealed. Please tune in to find out what kind of stories are hidden in the past that he can’t let go of.”
