Character posters have been released for the upcoming drama “School 2021”!
“School 2021” will tell the story of four 18-year-old students navigating their way through dreams, friendships, opportunities, and everything in between.
The newly released posters help paint the picture by highlighting the characters leading the narrative.
WEi’s Kim Yo Han will be playing the role of Gong Ki Joon, a former Taekwondo athlete who has given up on his dream due to an injury. His empty gaze shows how he is going through a period of being lost but foreshadows how he will find new aspirations despite it.
Jin Ji Won, who is determined to achieve her dream of becoming a carpenter, will be played by Cho Yi Hyun. Her energy shows through with her fist of determination and smile sprouting from confidence.
Chu Young Woo plays Jung Young Joo, a mysterious transfer student. His secretive demeanor carries over to his poster, amplified with the phrase, “Don’t talk to me. I don’t want to die.”
The fourth poster features Hwang Bo Reum Byeol as Kang Seo Young, a high-achieving student who is on track to get into one of Korea’s top universities. Whether she will be able to start anew by getting into college will be revealed in the drama.
The production team commented, “Kim Yo Han, Cho Yi Hyun, Chu Young Woo, and Hwang Bo Reum Byeol are together producing a one of a kind synergy effect. Please look forward to how the four characters who each have their own perspectives on dreams come together over carpentry and form their own chemistry.”
“School 2021” will premiere on November 17 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on DramaCool.
